Dom managed the renovation of our current home. After checking the property, he provided honest and accurate advice about the work needed. Dom fitted all the doors and skirting boards, ensuring we selected the right materials and got the best value for money; he also did an excellent job prepping and painting all the walls. Dom also managed other jobs like rewiring the house, replacing the radiators, installing new boarding and isolation of the loft, and replacing the roof. His attention to detail and diligence were superb; Dom delivered on time and budget w/o compromising the quality of the work.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Dom on a kitchen renovation and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From project management to fitting doors and crafting a bespoke cupboard, Dom handled everything with expertise and precision. From start to finish, he took all the stress off my shoulders. We have had two jobs recently completed by DC Carpentry ,one for six new internal doors and a new side gate which Dom made himself. We were very impressed with Dom’s standard of work and attention to detail and would certainly use him again and would recommend him to anybody seeking a good carpenter

I asked Dom to remove the glass panel from the double glazed window so we could remove the the sofa as it was too big to get through the door. He turned up on time was courteous and very professional. He explained in detail the process and made me aware that sometimes the glass panel in an old unit could be difficult to remove with the risk of possible glass damage and yes indeed this was a very stubborn one. Needless to say Dom was very patient and did the job with no damage to the window at all.
He cleaned up and even helped to get the sofa out which was much appreciated
Overall a small job to many other people who couldn’t be bothered to respond to my calls but Dom will always make a professional effort and give you an honest opinion.
I have used Dom many times in the past with flooring windows doors fencing building work and project management and many other jobs.
No doubt i will be using DC carpentry many more times again

Highly recommend this company. I had a wooden bike shed assembled, and arched side gate (including posts) – made and installed to the existing brick wall. Very pleased with both jobs. Rare to find someone who takes such pride in their work, and is so thorough. Delighted with my gate, which I appreciate wasn’t the easiest to either produce or fix, due to sloping floors etc. Dom is a true professional, and friendly with it!

I called Dom on Saturday and he arrived on Monday to do the job as agreed. He was quick clean and respectful. I’m very happy with the door fittings he done following new carpets being installed.

I needed some new doors hanging and from the point of making first contact with Dom, I found him very polite, helpful and professional. They were not easy doors to fit as they were an odd size and required a lot of trimming but Dom did a fantastic job
